President's Message

These are exciting times at the Levin Institute as we move into our new home and step up our academic programs, research and events. As part of the State University of New York, the Neil D. Levin Graduate Institute of International Relations and Commerce is what our name implies: a multidisciplinary institute that addresses key issues posed by the powerful dynamics of globalization.

As an academic start up, backed by SUNY and the State of New York, we have been working hard to develop programs while building out our new space. In this Levin Update you will find news about our activities and growing network of partnerships, including Nanjing University. We are also proud of our Globalization 101 project which will offer rich content and curricula to faculty and students within and outside the SUNY system. Our customized education projects are also moving ahead offering support for transnational enterprises facing the competitive pressures of globalization.
