Descriptive Title: Housekeeper

Budget Title: Housekeeper

Starting Date: ASAP

Description of Duties:

                        • Using mops, brushes, and other cleaning instruments, washes floors, corridors, stairwells, walls, partitions ands windows.

• Polishes wood and metal fixtures and equipment, vacuums and waxes floors and shampoos carpets.

• Using hand operated equipment and detergents, scrubs and cleans lavatories.

• Using appropriate equipment such as ladders, washes light fixtures and replaces light bulbs

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and use various cleaning equipment and procedures.

• Ability to perform manual labor requiring frequent medium and occasional heavy effort.

• Ability to stoop, bend, stretch, and stand for long periods of time.

                        • Must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position.

Special Notes: This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, days and shifts to be determined. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Evening and/or weekend work may be required.
