Doing Business in a Multicultural World
On September 22nd, The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, the United Nations Global Compact, and the Research Centre for the Global Compact at The Levin Institute hosted a High-Level Panel Discussion on "Doing Business in a Multicultural World. Keynote Speech was given by H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey.
Distinguished speakers included: H.E. Mr. Jorge Sampaio, former President of Portugal (1996-2006), United Nations High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations; Mr. Georg Kell, Executive Director UN Global Compact; H.E. Dr. Ewa Björling, Minister of Trade, Sweden; Mr. Antonio Brufau, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Repsol YPF, Spain; and, Mr. Yue Zhang, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Broad Air Conditioning, China.
