Why Change is Necessary

We're in an environment where even if you are successful, you better be prepared to change in a transformational way. Why? Because the metrics that say today that you are successful and the competitors that you are comparing yourself to today, which lead you to the conclusion I'm number one in my space, are not going to be the metrics tomorrow, and those are not going to be the competitors tomorrow. There are going to be new competitors creating new metrics, so you better change.
That applies to business. It applies to educational institutions. It applies to everybody. And that's a difficult challenge, because successful organizations don't like to change. They don't see a reason to change.
